MEET YOUR TRAINER

MEET YOUR TRAINER
From the pharmacy counter to the training floor.
For years, Amy stood behind a pharmacy counter watching people manage conditions that movement could have prevented, or could still help heal. She kept coming back to the same conclusion: for most people, the first and best prescription isn't a pill. It's movement, done correctly and consistently.
So she became NASM-certified in 2016 and rebuilt her career around that belief. Today she brings a clinician's precision to every session, reading how a body actually moves instead of just pushing through a workout, paired with the warmth of someone who genuinely wants to see you feel better.

CLIENT EXPERIENCES
Real care. Real results.

Amy Hoff is my Mother's personal trainer and she has changed my Mother's life. My Mother is 90 years old and started working out with Amy 9 months ago. She started with one thirty minute session a week. As she became stronger, she started seeing Amy twice a week. My Mother walks without the use of a cane or walker which is remarkable for her age. The exercise has also benefited her brain. Amy cares about her clients and stays right with them when they are exercising. My Mother always looks forward to seeing Amy. Amy has been a blessing to my Mother, and we are so thankful that their paths crossed.
Long-Term Strength
Stacy N.
I love working out with Amy. She pays meticulous attention to my form. She is very good at communicating about the exact muscle(s) the movement is supposed to be working so that I stay focused and get the best work out. She also uses different exercises, equipment, and tempos so that it is never boring and always challenging. Since I have been working out with Amy, I have noticed that I am getting more toned in areas that typically are difficult for me. She cares about my success and my safety, pushing me but never to the point of injury, and is also very reliable, never canceling, never late, and staying focused for the full hour of our workout.

My personal experience being trained by Amy has consistently been professional and rewarding. It's hard to find a personal trainer who knows how to accommodate my injuries and still get a great work out. Amy knows what I can and can't do and she is great about guiding me through each exercise and monitoring my form and ability. I can get chatty and Amy is great about staying focused and giving me a great session with great conversation. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a safe and personalized workout. Amy can accommodate any level of fitness and is always on time and she is even great about cleaning up equipment after each session.

COMMON QUESTIONS
We've got answers.
New to strength training, or just new to RxForFit? Here's what people usually ask.
What should I expect at my first session?
We'll start with a movement assessment and a conversation about your goals, injuries, and history. No workout is thrown at you before we understand your body.
Do I need any experience with strength training?
Not at all. Many clients are brand new to structured training, and programs are built from wherever you're starting.
Can you work around an existing injury?
Yes. Injury recovery is one of our core specialties, and we'll work with your physical therapist or doctor's guidance where relevant.
Do you offer virtual coaching?
Yes, virtual sessions are available for clients who prefer or need to train remotely.
How often should I train each week?
Most clients start with 1–2 sessions per week; we'll recommend a cadence based on your goals and recovery.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. Just reach out ahead of time and we'll find a new time that works.
Still have questions? We're happy to help before you even book.
